PRESCHOOL

Our preschool curriculum is structured around learning through a wide variety of activities, incorporating the weekly and monthly themes into different areas of learning. Art, Dramatic Play, Science, Sensory Stimulation, Cooking, Music, Reading Readiness, Small and Gross Motor Skills, Math and Group Interactions all play a large part in the learning process. Curriculum is developmentally scaled for each age group; two-year-olds and three-year-olds spend their time in their own, age-appropriate classrooms. The twos class in particular aims to ease the transition from our infant/toddler center, boasting a 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio and slightly differing lesson plans catered to younger twos and older twos. Our threes benefit from a 8-10:1 ratio, allowing for larger groups to nurture social development. Our school is equipped with large out door play areas with tricycle routes, sand boxes, and outdoor play structures with age appropriate climbing, coordinating and balancing equipment. Our large community garden areas provide year-round gardening and observation opportunities to our children.
