A significant portion of the remodel done in 2007 involved improving and updating our outside play areas. Infants, toddlers and twos enjoy the play areas closest to the building, with age-appropriate play structures and rubber surfaces covering a large part of the area for safety and ease of play, as well as a sandbox for older toddlers.
Three-year-olds and Pre-K students trek across the grounds to our large playground, equipped with enough activities to keep boredom at bay every day! Rubber bark in the main play area is encircled in a sidewalk-style track for trike-riding (with helmets!), chalk-drawing, and running. The play structures are age-appropriate, but challenging: bridges and slides, a spider web dome for climbing, see-saws, a basketball hoop and a sandbox.
